The organization is founded in 2009 by a group of young immigrant Indian people with a philanthropic bent of mind, who wish to share and work together to create lasting change in the lives of poor. Sharing Care is a humanitarian organization dedicated to working for the poor and their communities worldwide to enhance their quality of life by tackling the causes of poverty. Sharing Care works to support people who are deprived of health care and education due to the lack of money. The organization supports people regardless of their religion, caste, race, disability status, ethnicity and gender.

Our mission is to support people living in extreme poverty to achieve major improvements in their own lives.
Our objectives are The relief of financial hardship among students to achieve better education by providing study materials, grants etc. The relief of sick poor through the provision of grants, medical aids or access better health facilities.
Sharing Care is governed by Executive Committee, who is responsible for ensuring the organization is well managed and abides by its charitable aims. Members to executive committee are elected by the members of the general body. The administration of the organization is managed and regulated by its members according to its constitution. Presently there are five trustees in Executive Committee. The term of a trustee is two years from the date of appointment. The trustees are appointed because of their commitment to the organization and their experience and skills which enable them to undertake the responsibilities of leadership of an organization like Sharing Care. We work in compliance with the principles of “Good Governance” and thus set ourselves apart with our set norms of transparency, accountability, credibility and sustainability.

Membership: Membership is open to all individuals over 18 years of age and seconded by two other active members and subject to the approval of general body. A regular subscription is applicable to all members. If you are interested in becoming a member of Sharing Care, contact us .
Fundraising: There are various methods through which we raise funds for our work. These include: Fundraising programmes: We often conduct fundraising programmes such as food festivals, film shows, cultural events etc.
Donations: We accept donations from non-members and well wishers. Everyone who wishes to support us can donate any amount directly to our account.
Regular Subscription: Our members are donating a certain amount every month for our work.
